Kristen Stewart took dressing down to an entirely new level as she stepped out in a ripped shirt and marijuana socks — what do you think of the casual statement she made with her style?

Kristen Stewart, 25, is currently in NYC, where she’s filming Woody Allen‘s latest movie alongside Blake Lively, but she was spotted out of costume in a more comfortable, casual look on Oct. 8. The Chanel muse always stuns on the red carpet with her edgy yet chic sense of style, but when she’s dressing down she gravitates towards skinny jeans and sneakers — and that’s exactly what she wore on this occasion! While her outfit was so signature K-Stew, we totally did a double-take when we glanced down and saw her psychedelic socks, which featured marijuana leaves. Now that’s one way to make a statement.

Kristen wears whatever she feels comfortable in — even if that means throwing on a shirt with a few holes in it. The star showed off her distressed, dressed-down look as she stepped out. The laid-back vibe continued with her marijuana socks, which were visible below her cuffed skinny jeans. A black pair of Adidas and sunglasses polished off her outfit.

The star isn’t the first celeb to show off a marijuana-inspired look — in fact, everyone from Rihanna to Vanessa Hudgens has done so.

The role of Chanel muse is a coveted title — and even though she may not step out decked out from head-to-toe, KStew always makes a statement and always rocks whatever she has on. It never looks like the clothes are wearing her, which is so important when experimenting with new trends and silhouettes. There’s no denying the fact that she always stays true to herself.

While we’re all about KStew, what do you think — is it time for her to stock up on a new white tee? Are you loving her bold socks or do you think she should retire them?
