How heartbreaking! Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White, took her own life just a few days after her own mother called her a ‘failure,’ a shocking new report claims. New details also reveal there were several unfortunate incidents that happened to Cathriona prior to her passing.
Cathriona White allegedly received a number of messages from her biological mother, Brigid Sweetman, a few days before she committed suicide, a new report claims. Her mother reportedly called her a “failure” in life after she and Jim Carrey, 53, called it quits on Sept. 24.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that friends of Cathriona had informed the police of her mother’s hateful messages just days before her death. Now with the tragic information, the local authorities dug deeper to check the validity of the notes. Not only did the investigators reportedly reveal the existence of the messages, but they also learned this wasn’t Cathriona’s first attempt at suicide.
After she lost her father back in 2012, Cathriona was sent in a downward spiral, which led to her first attempt at suicide. Sadly, three years later, on the anniversary of her father’s death, the actress lost her life due to a toxic drug overdose.
Cathriona Was Reportedly Found Dead With A Suicide Note Next To Her
The Irish-born actress took her own life on Sept. 28, just a few days after her 30th birthday. As HollywoodLife previously reported, Cathriona was found dead in her Los Angeles home by two of her friends, surrounded by a suicide note that was addressed to Jim and three prescription drug bottles that allegedly belonged to her ex-boyfriend. They contained Ambien (sleep aid), Percocet (a strong painkiller) and Propranolol (blood pressure/heart medication). The three were prescribed to a “fictional male” Jim reportedly used. But at the time, he was unaware Cathriona had taken them. So sad!
