Despite Chris Brown assaulting her in 2009, Rihanna told ‘Vanity Fair’ she’ll ‘care about him until the day’ she dies. Her admission has pulled at Chris’ heartstrings, and he hopes his daughter, Royalty, grows up to be just as ‘loving’ and ‘forgiving’ as her. So sweet!

“He only hopes his daughter, Royalty, grows up to be as beautiful, smart, loving and forgiving as Rihanna,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. This comes after Rihanna opened up to Vanity Fair on how she feels about her ex-boyfriend, saying, “I will care about him until the day I die.” Talk about time healing all wounds!
And Chris is so thankful for Rihanna’s forgiveness — her comments are surprising, considering he assaulted her in 2009. “He respects and loves her for forgiving him for his mistakes,” the source continued. Chris wishes he could go back in time and undo all the pain he caused her. “For one, he would have never laid his hands on [Rihanna],” the source confessed. “And the other, he would have loved for Rihanna to have given birth to Royalty.”
Wow — that’s some pretty serious stuff! Sounds like RiRi has been a really good influence on Chris. But as we have previously reported, she hasn’t shut the door on Chris just yet. So maybe there’s hope for them in the future. “He’s the love of her life and she especially loves that he’s maturing and has become a loving father,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Only time will tell if they’re meant to be, but she knows he’d treat her right this time around. She can feel it and they’ve talked about it.” Sounds like Chris know’s he’d treat her right, too!
