‘Basketball Wives: LA’ ended with a bang — and a brawl! On the Oct. 4 season finale, Brandi Maxiell and Tami Roman got into a nasty, emotional fight on the beach that forced their friends, Shaunie O’Neal and Malaysia Pargo, to separate them! Click to watch!
Catfight! There were no refs to call “foul” on the season finale of Basketball Wives: LA and the stars of the reality television show nearly tore each other apart! A simple miscommunication led to heated fight between Tami Roman, 45, Shaunie O’Neal, 40 (the ex of Shaquille O’Neal, 40) and their co-stars, Malaysia Pargo, 34 and Brandi Maxiell, 32!
Basketball Wives: LA almost looked like the UFC during the Oct. 4 finale. The cast was trying to enjoy themselves on the beach when Angel Brinks made a tasteless joke about fellow star, Meghan James, having an abortion. Yikes! It almost looked like those two were going to have a fight. Angel knew she had to get out of there, so she grabbed a cab and left, reports the International Business Times. But the fighting wasn’t done!
With emotions high, it didn’t take much to set the other women off. When Brandi and Malaysia tried to calm Meghan down, they overheard Shaunie and Tami laughing. Uh-oh. This caused Brandi to walk over and confront Tami, accusing her and Shaunie of laughing at them!
What followed was an explicative filled fight and for a while there, it looked that these ladies would pull off their jewelry and start throwing punches. Thankfully, after cursing each other out, the groups separated and cooled down enough that they could actually talk it out.
Shaunie finally explained what she and Tami were laughing about. “We giggled over here about the fact that I said ‘B*tch, there’s a fight….going on and you’re not involved. I’m proud,'” said Shaunie. Turns out that they were not even talking about Brandi and Malaysia. Malaysia and Brandi apologized over the misunderstanding and admitted that they “took it wrong.” Phew!
Unfortunately, later in the episode, Brandi and Shaunie got into another fight! Brandi said Shaunie that she looked down on the group and Shaunie ended the conversation by saying, “Thank you for your services.” Since Shaunie is the executive producer of Basketball Wives: LA, does this mean that Brandi was just fired? She said she’s “not through“, so we may just see her back on the next season!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Did you watch the season finale? Do you think Brandi should still be kept on the show?
