Whether glossy or matte, super sheer or slightly pink, we rarely see Kim Kardashian stray from her nude lipstick. Now her makeup artist (and new app) is spilling one of the secret shades behind her signature look.
Love her or hate her, there’s no denying that Kim Kardashian has the whole red carpet makeup routine down to a science. And we’re not just talking for major events — even on family vacations, you won’t catch Kim looking anything less than perfect. Thanks to her right-hand man and makeup artist of ten years, Mario Dedivanovic, Kim’s often copied nude lipstick is now as easy as picking up two simple products
If you’ve ever wondered just what goes into Kim’s makeup routine, watch a bit of the behind-the-scenes as Mario lines and fills Kim’s lips into pink-nude perfection, here:
To get Kim’s signature look, Mario first lines and fills her pout with a lip pencil in a neutral shade like Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude. Though Kim already has an oversized pout, you can see Mario slightly exaggerates the outer lines for an even fuller effect. To fill her lips, Mario used Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria for the pinkish nude color in a lusterless finish.
Kim Kardashian’s Nude Lipstick — How To Copy Her Signature Look
You can copy Mario and clean up any lipstick that may have made its way outside the lines with a bit of powder or even the tiniest drop of concealer, blended into the skin. The rest of the makeup in the tutorial was also classic Kim K, with bold brows, bronze lids and highlighted skin.
Now that you know what lipstick shade Kim uses, will you be copying? What makeup secrets are you hoping the duo reveals next?
