This is pretty shocking. Justin Bieber was seen on stage in New Zealand smoking what looked like a very suspicious cigarette. Is the Biebs setting a bad example for his many fans?
Is this the end of JB’s reformed image? Justin Bieber, 21, joined Rae Sremmurd on stage at a concert in New Zealand on Oct. 1, where he was caught on video puffing on, well, something. It’s unclear what exactly was rolled inside the mystery cigarette, however, given Justin’s previous DUI in 2014, as well as his legions of impressionable, young fans, it is alarming to see him smoking nonetheless. In the video, which was obtained by TMZ, we see Rae Sremmurd (a rapping brother duo) performing shirtless on stage as Justin stands by. As one brother raps to the crowd, the other, very clearly, passes Justin a rolled up, lit cigarette.
Justin doesn’t immediately smoke the object, holding it in his hand for a few seconds. However, he then places it in his mouth, and inhales before beginning to dance to the beat. He then exhales, letting out a visible cloud of smoke.
Justin then drops the cigarette and keeps it down at his side for a few seconds, continuing to dance as Rae Sremmurd raps. Shortly after, he raises the cigarette to his mouth again, and takes another drag. It is difficult to tell precisely what happens next, however, it appears that Justin then drops the cigarette onto the ground, and reaches out to some of the audience members, touching their hands.
In another video, Justin was seen taking a swig out of a Hennessy bottle. Making matters more suspicious, earlier in the day before the performance, Rae Sremmurd tweeted at Justin, saying, “lets pipe up in New Zealand.” See the telling tweet below.
HollywoodLife has reached out to Justin’s rep for comment.
What do you guys think of the video? Is Justin smoking a regular cigarette, or is there something else rolled up inside there?
