British Olympic diver Tom Daley and his boyfriend, Dustin Lance Black have just announced they are getting hitched! Have you ever seen a more good looking couple? Wow!
Congratulations to Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black! Tom, 21, and Dustin, 41, have just revealed they are getting married after a little more than two years together. Dustin is a screenwriter and won an Oscar for his work as the writer of the hit film, Milk in 2008. We are so excited for them and we’re sure this wedding will be a total splash!
It appears the proposal may have happened at a park over the weekend because Lance’s caption calls the weekend “perfect.” “Having a hard time focusing on work today. Keep thinking back to our perfect Sunday in the park. #picnic#icecream #sunshine #naptime.” Although we don’t know much about the upcoming nuptials we do know that they moved in together in May. Here’s a snippet from their announcement in The Times of London: “Mr T.R. Daley and Mr D.L. Black. The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence.”Even though there’s an age difference, a source tells Us Weekly that Tom doesn’t mind: “Tom told friends he ‘doesn’t care what people think.”

When Tom finally came out in a YouTube video he said that it was Dustin who helped him realize his true feelings: “My life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy. It did take me by surprise a little bit.” He also told E! News: “I am a gay man now. I came out on YouTube as I wanted to say what I wanted to say without anyone twisting it. I told my family before I told the world. I was terrified. I did not know what the reaction was going to be. I did it on YouTube because people were constantly digging and asking questions.” He also told The Sun: “It just got to the point where I was like, ‘Why am I hiding it? It shouldn’t matter, nobody should care in this day and age. I just didn’t want to feel I had to hide, or when I went out to dinner have to bring lots of people. It always had to be a group dinner. I wanted to be able to go out, have dinner with him.”
HollywoodLifers, do you think 20 years it too much of an age difference?
