So shocking. Former ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ star Nicholas Brendon, 44, was arrested on Sept. 30 after he allegedly choked his girlfriend, stole her car keys, hurled her cell phone into the road, and threw a chair against a wall, a horrific new report claims. Find out all the details here.
Nicholas Brendon, who has struggled to stay sober in recent months, was reportedly arrested on Sept. 30 after allegedly choking his girlfriend. The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor, 44, has been involved in multiple incidents with police in Saratoga Springs, New York over the last several days, but his latest arrest has resulted in a felony charge.
After allegedly choking his girlfriend, stealing her car keys, hurling her cell phone into the road, and throwing a chair against a wall, Nicholas was reportedly arrested and “charged with robbery in the third degree, a felony; two counts of criminal mischief and one count of obstruction of breathing,” police told Radar Online.
Police were reportedly called to Springs Motel by Nicholas’ alleged girlfriend – an unidentified 33-year-old woman — late Wednesday night after the incident occurred. “There was alcohol involved,” a police spokesman told Radar, adding, “although I can’t specify how.”
Nicholas was arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court on Oct. 1 and “held in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.” He’s due back in court Oct. 6.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Nicholas was arrested five other times over the past year, and entered rehab in June. Unfortunately, he recently admitted he fell off the wagon and has been struggling to stay sober. He also walked off the Dr. Phil show while talking about his ongoing issues. Apparently, he didn’t like the questions Dr. Phil was asking him. Watch the video above.
HollywoodLife.com reached out to Nicholas’ manager, who told us she has “no comment.”
