Nat Wolff is changing things up big time. The ‘Paper Towns’ and ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ cutie is taking on a much darker role than his previous films. He just snagged the lead role in the live-action movie ‘Death Note,’ according to a new report. Brace yourselves, it’s going to be one intense film.
Get ready for an all-new Nat Wolff. The 20-year-old up-and-coming actor will be starring in Death Note, a new report claims. Nat’s played the lovable Isaac and Quentin in The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns, but his new role is kind of terrifying. His character is a student who find a notebook that allows him to kill anyone by just writing their name. Um, say what?!
Nat is in final negotiations for Death Note, our sister site Variety reports. He’ll play a student who finds a supernatural notebook that has a pretty deadly power. He can kill anyone by just writing their name in the notebook. His character, Light Yagami, runs into trouble when he starts to get tracked by a police officer. This movie sounds awesome and scary. The movie is based on a manga series that was recently adapted into an anime as well as live-action films in Japan.
Nat has quickly become one of Hollywood’s rising stars. After he stole the show alongside Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley in The Fault in our Stars, he was picked for the lead role in Paper Towns. He was also on the short list for the latest reboot of Spider-Man.
