Kim Zolciak is still devastated about her disqualification from ‘DWTS’ — and rightfully so! The reality star was so committed to returning to the show that she actually practiced her dance moves while she was still recuperating in the hospital. See the video here!
Kim Zolciak, 37, wasn’t kidding when she said she was committed to returning to Dancing With the Stars following her mini-stroke on Sept. 22. As previously reported, the reality star was so desperate to make a comeback that she continued to practice her dance moves even while she was still at the hospital — and now thanks to her daughter, Brielle Biermann, 18, we have the proof!
While the video doesn’t show Kim actually dancing around her hospital room, she does appear to be getting an instructional lesson from her partner Tony Dovolani, who can be heard running through steps with her as she watches and gets her hair done — hey, a girl’s got to look good, right? “How funny! Look at the video @briellebiermann just sent me from last week in the hospital,” Kim captioned her video post on Sept. 30. “I wasn’t kidding when I said @tonydovolani was teaching me in the hospital! Thank you @nikitpressley for blow drying my hair and curling it! I felt human again. #IDreamOfGenie #TooCute #GoodPeople.”

Sadly, the hospital room practices weren’t enough to keep Kim and Tony from being axed from the show. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the duo didn’t find out until during the live show (for which Kim appeared via video chat) that they would not be able to continue dancing — a decision that left them completely blindsided. Still, ever since the show premiered in 2005, the rules have always stated that if someone cannot dance because of illness or injury, they will be eliminated from the competition. Although Kim was able to dance following her mini stroke last week, she didn’t get cleared from her doctors to fly from Atlanta to Los Angeles for the Sept. 28. show, and therefore, wasn’t present on the dance floor.
Of course, now that Kim has been eliminated from the show, we can’t help but wonder if someone will be brought on to replace her. And who better than her very own daughter, Brielle? “If Kim can’t stay in the picture, then why not replace one Zolciak with another? The producers have been toying with the idea of bringing Brielle onto the show,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “It would make Kim and her fans happy and pull in ratings. Plus, Brielle is gorgeous and would be a shoo-in for the show!” We’re down!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Kim still be allowed to return to the show? Do you want to see her daughter Brielle replace her? Sound off below!
