Even though D.J. and Steve didn’t live happily ever after on ‘Full House,’ they may get a second shot at love on the series’ upcoming spinoff, ‘Fuller House!’ Scott Weinger teased a reunion between the former lovers when he posted the most adorable photo Sept. 30. See it here.
D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger) are back together! Ever since Scott announced he’d be returning to the Full House universe by appearing on the Netflix spinoff Fuller House, we have been hoping his character, Steve, and D.J. would reignite their romance. And now, it looks like our wish may be coming true!
Even though Full House ended 20 years ago, we still get giddy every time we see a picture of the cast together again, or on the set of the Netflix spinoff. But this new image of Candace and Scott, which he posted online Sept. 30, has us jumping for joy! Not only do we hope D.J. and Steve get back together on the highly-anticipated Fuller House, but the actors seem to feel the same way!
“Sorry, Internet,” Scott captioned the pic on Instagram, along with the hashtag #iloveyoudj. OMG. Dead.
Scott didn’t spill any plot details, but what we do know is that when Fuller House premieres on Netflix in 2016, D.J. will be a recently-widowed single mom to three boys, and her little sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), as well as her BFF, Kimmy (Andrea Barber), will move in and help her raise the kids. It’s pretty much going to be a flipped version of the original series, when three men raised three little girls. We can hardly wait, and this new picture isn’t helping!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you hoping D.J. and Steve get back together? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
