“Ryan was home all the time,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He was dealing with an injury and would be kind of a party pooper and would really want people to feel bad for him. Kaley’s life on the other hand, is going pretty well right now and she is a very fun loving person. They had a lot of good times together, but the change in his demeanor following his injury made him different from the person she fell in love with. She decided that it would be better to move on because things weren’t helping to change his attitude.”
So sad! Kaley was reportedly the one to file the legal documents, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the divorce. “It was a long time coming,” our source added. “She tried to make it work, but felt like she was the only one making an effort.” According to the legal documents,the couple also allegedly listed their separation date as Sept. 3. However, the pair originally announced their break-up on Sept. 25, which means they must have been living apart for at least three weeks before deciding to pull the plug on their marriage.
In addition to everything she’ll get in the prenup, the court papers reportedly say Kaley will also take her name back. She reportedly requested that her name be legally changed from Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting back to Kaley Cuoco. Clearly, she is ready to put this marriage behind her and move on with her life.
In fact, since news of the breakup broke, Kaley has done her best not to dwell on the new absence in her life, but rather, celebrate with a new addition: a gorgeous brown horse! “Kaley is doing better than expected,” said our source. “She’s putting all her focus and energy on her animals right now, especially her new horse Zasa. She wants to devote her time helping disadvantaged kids with her rescue animals.” So sweet! What better way to mend a broken heart than with a furry new friend by your side!
