Could Kim Zolciak be hitting the dance floor just days after suffering a mini stroke? She’s certainly planning on it! Ultimately Kim’s doctors will be the one to make the call, but she has released a statement regarding her condition — read it below!
Kim Zolciak, 37, may have had a health scare when she suffered a TIA stroke after her Dancing With The Stars performance on Sept. 23, but that’s not holding her back from wanting to compete on the show. In fact, with the support of her family and fans (as well as her partner Tony Dovolani!), Kim is already doing better! But does that mean we’ll be seeing her back at it in week 3?
After losing feeling in one side of her body from the stroke and spending two days in the hospital, Kim was given the OK to go home. She made sure to keep her fans in the loop with social media, even using the hashtag “#TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing” to prove how much of a fighter she is! So when it comes to her future on DWTS, of course she wants to make a triumphant return — see what she has to say about it!
“I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days. I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health. I can’t express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing,” Kim said in a statement to HollywoodLife.com.
We sure hope the same! Kim has already made major improvements in just the first two weeks of the competition, and we’d hate to see her time end because of an injury…she is a Toughie, after all! Even her producers are expecting her to be back, but they won’t reveal her status until the show airs!
“They want it to be a tune-in moment,” a source told us EXCLUSIVELY. “[The producers] are going to try and be as secretive as possible when it comes to her return to the show.”
It sounds like week 3 will have everyone on the edge of their seats to see if Kim returns to the DWTS dance floor! What an amazing comeback it would be!
Do you hope to see Kim back on DWTS, HollywoodLifers? Send your well wishes to her below!
