Jaden Smith’s girlfriend Sarah Snyder is innocent, according to her lawyer. After being arrested for reportedly stealing a handbag worth $16k, Sarah’s attorney spoke out on the matter and EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that his client did not commit the crime.
Innocent until proven guilty. Sarah Snyder, 19, was arrested and charged with Felony Grand Larceny in the third degree for allegedly stealing a $15,995 Hermès purse from an upscale boutique in Bedford, NY. As she awaits her hearing, Sarah’s attorney Robert Schuster EXCLUSIVELY opened up to HollywoodLife.com about the 19-year-old’s ongoing case.

Ever since Sarah’s arrest went public, there has been speculation surrounding her innocence. But her attorney really believes his client didn’t have anything to do with the theft. Apparently she wasn’t even around when the reported theft happened! “It is asserted that Ms. Snyder was not even in the state of New York at the time this incident allegedly occurred,” Robert revealed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “Ms. Snyder is incredulous that she was charged and my office will fight to the very end to protect her innocence.” Robert went on to say he is confident Sarah will be exonerated from the case.
While Sarah’s lawyer believes she’s innocent, law enforcement doesn’t think so. After launching a four month investigation, Lt. Tom Diebold, Public Informations Officer for the Bedford Police Department revealed to HollywoodLife.com that they arrested Sarah on June 15. They claim to have strong evidence that Jaden’s girlfriend stole the luxury handbag from the boutique.
Jaden Is Attracted To Sarah’s Bad Girl Persona
Whether Sarah committed those crimes or not, it doesn’t bother Jaden at all. “Jaden knows all about her troubles with the law, and he doesn’t care one bit,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “In fact, Jaden loves her more because she isn’t some goody two-shoes girl. He’s obsessed with her. He likes that she has an edge.”
