Say what?! On one of the many songs on Drake and Future’s mixtape, Drake appears to take a brutal jab at Chris Brown with his mention of Karrueche Tran. Check out the lyrics to ‘Live From The Gutter,’ and see the shade for yourself!
Looks like Drake and Chris Brown’s beef is never going to be over. Drake, 28, dropped his “What A Time To Be Alive” mixtape with Future, 31, on Sept. 20, and “Live From The Gutter” features some major shade aimed directly at Chris, 26. More specifically, the shade is about the guys who’ve been with Chris’ ex Karrueche Tran, 27!
The shady lyrics in question are: “This for my n***as on that bullsh*t and that nonsense / This is for my dogs who go Karrueche with the chopsticks.” It appears that Drake is trying to bring up the guys who’ve been with Karrueche. Most notably, that’s been Chris. The “Loyal” singer and Karrueche have had a tumultuous relationship that has been filled with breakups and makeups.
But here’s where the real shade comes in. After Chris and Karrueche’s last breakup, the model was rumored to be dating Future’s DJ, Esco. Karrueche shot down those rumors, and HollywoodLife.com told you EXCLUSIVELY that Chris thinks it’s disrespectful for Karrueche to date guys he knows. We’re not saying Chris and Esco know each other, but the music industry is a small world.

Drake knows that Chris has a soft spot for Karrueche. Remember when Chris blasted Karrueche in Dec. 2014 and claimed that she cheated on him with Drake? Yeah, Drake knows how to get under Chris’ skin big time.
Chris wasn’t the only person that Drake dissed on the mixtape — which you can listen to here. On the song “30 for 30 Freestyle,” Drake threw shade at Meek Mill. Given their recent beef with each other, it wasn’t surprising that Drake brought him up. Drake wanted to get the last word in and rapped “hats off for a solid effort” to Meek! Yikes. We bet that feud’s not over either…
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Drake’s shade at Chris and Karrueche? Was it a low blow? Let us know!
