Selena Gomez shows off her natural beauty on the cover of ‘Wonderland’ magazine. The actress and singer skipped the kohl-rimmed eyes and sleek blowout for a more relaxed look. Learn more about her look, below!
Selena Gomez, 23, shared a look we’re not used to seeing from the superstar when she posted an Instagram picture from her fresh-faced photo shoot with Wonderland magazine. Her simplified makeup and natural, defined curls made for an edgier shoot when compared to her usually polished looks.
Sel’s bare-faced look came right before her October 2015 Elle cover was revealed, where the “Good For You” singer sported a deep smokey eye she’s been favoring as of late, plus tousled waves. The two covers are totally different, but Selena looks gorgeous posing for both magazines.
Selena’s go-to makeup artist Jake Bailey was behind her practically makeup-free look. Brushed up brows, curled lashes and a clear glossy lip seemed to be all Jake needed to get Selena cover ready. If you want to fake her clear complexion, add a bit of coverage in the form of a BB cream like Clinique Age Defense BB Cream, which will cover up any blemishes or an uneven skintone.

If you don’t have Selena’s naturally curly hair, fake defined curls (or just enhance the slight waves you have) by applying Pantene No Crunch Curls Whip on damp hair. If you’ve naturally got super curls like Selena, just scrunch the product into your hair and let it air dry or blow dry with a diffuser for a faster finish. To fake a defined look, once you’ve dried your hair, wrap one-inch sections of your hair around a curling iron.
What do you think of Selena’s more natural look? Do you prefer her Wonderland look or her more made up Elle cover?
