Ariana Grande was the latest singer to take on Jimmy Fallon’s Wheel of Musical Impressions, but she wasn’t the first! Check out our rankings of the best performances in the fun game right here!
Can Jimmy Fallon have his guests take on the Wheel of Musical Impressions every night?! It’s definitely one of the best games on The Tonight Show, and some amazing stars have participated. Check out our rankings of the top 4 performances here, including Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande, here!
Okay, so in case you’re not caught up, the game works like this: Jimmy and his guest take turns spinning a wheel, which chooses an artist and song at random, and their task is to sing the track in the voice of the musician. You’d be surprised at how spot-on these celebs were!
4. Adam Levine
Adam absolutely nailed his impressions of Eddie Veder, Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra on the show, even though he did for get the words to some of the songs he was singing!
3. Ariana Grande
Ariana was an absolute star when she took on Britney Spears, Celine Dion and even Christina herself! She showed off her powerhouse vocals for the Christina and Celine impressions, while taking it down a notch to perfectly mimic Brit’s nasally voice. Amazing!
2. Jamie Foxx
Okay, Jamie totally got into this more than anyone else. When he was impersonating Mick Jagger, he even got out of his seat to show off the Rolling Stones’ lead singer’s signature dance moves. And he kept up the vocals the entire time. Incredible!
1. Christina Aguilera
But Christina takes the No. 1 spot for one very important reason — her beyond perfect impression of Britney. The ladies have known each other since they were pre-teens, and have been pitted against each other since they popped on the scene in the 90s, so for Xtina to hold nothing back when poking a little fun at Brit was AMAZING. Rewatch this 100 times (above) if you haven’t yet!
And, let’s not forget to point out how amazing Jimmy, himself, was EVERY single time. Props to the host!
