Reese Witherspoon, Sofia Vergara, Lena Dunham, Coco Rocha — the list of celebs who love Zac Posen goes on and on. See why his ZAC Zac Posen Spring 2016 collection is perfect for Taylor Swift & Rumer Willis below.
If anyone is having a busy Fashion Week, it’s Zac Posen! Not only did he have his namesake show during NYFW, but he also debuted collections for Brooks Brothers and his line ZAC Zac Posen. I was at the ZAC Zac Posen show, held at Industria Studios on September 8 in New York City. Read my full review here.
Rumer Willis sat front row at the show, and I totally thought of her when I saw this black mesh dress. The look is hard yet feminine. I totally get that vibe from Rumer too — her tattoos show a tough side, but on DWTS, we got to know a more vulnerable girl who grew up in the spotlight.
On the other side of the spectrum, this romantic, pastel pink dress with waist cutouts totally screamed “Taylor Swift!” to me. It’s sweet like Taylor, but offers a touch of sexiness with the waist cutouts — Taylor would be able to show off her toned stomach!
ZAC Zac Posen: Spring 2016 — Pretty & Girly
Models wore velvet loafers in hot pink, burgundy and yellow — without any stilettos, there was no tripping! I appreciated the easy comfort of the footwear paired with some of the extra glam and girly designs, like this long blue ruffled gown.
I also fell in love with the mix of separates that were cool and funky but still feminine and playful. I really love this black and white patterned shorts and blazer combo, which could take you from (a more creative) office to happy hour with friends.
Model Coco Rocha closed the show in an awe-inspiring LED dress made by women coders. The dress was a collaboration with Google’s Made With Code initiative. Zac walked out with Coco as the audience roared in applause.
