Justin Bieber’s amazing transition into an adult artist just keeps on coming. The singer brought down the house during the first ever ‘Think It Up’ telethon on Sept. 11, where celebrities helped encourage education across America. Watch the video here!
Justin Bieber, 21, continues to blow us away with his amazing performances as of late. He showcased his first number one hit “What Do You Mean?” at the “Think It Up” telethon in Santa Monica, California on Sept. 11. His rousing rendition had the crowd on their feet, and it was all for a good cause.
Justin blew us away with his latest performance of his hit, “What Do You Mean?” The voice, the moves, and the drop-crotched pants — he brought it all for the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s inaugural “Think It Up” telethon, which was aired across all four major U.S. TV networks. The group, which also promotes the highly successful Stand Up 2 Cancer telethons, is branching out in support of learning and education. And Justin schooled it!
The singer wore a black baseball cap turned backwards to cover up his new platnium locks. But there was no mistaking those incredible dance moves that so many have compared to the late Michael Jackson. And just like his premiere performance of the song at the MTV VMAs last month, he got emotional after nailing the song by covering his face and then thanking his fans.
It’s been quite a rocky road for JB to get back to his superstar status. Despite the combination of no new music in several years, along with a series of personal setbacks, including a 2014 DUI arrest and his on-again/off-again relationship with Selena Gomez, 23, Justin has achieved everything he promised at his March Comedy Central Roast. He seems to be taking all of the negativity to heart and is genuinely working on being a better person. Luckily for us, that means he’s finally refocused his attention on music and entertaining his fans instead of being a tabloid staple for his bad behavior.
He’s more than making up for his past mistakes with plenty of goodwill lately. In addition to performing for “Think It Up” – which “aims to turn students’ passion in connection to what they’re learning in the classroom with the things that mater to them outside of school,” the singer performed on Sept. 10 in New York for relatives of 9/11 victims and Make-A-Wish kids.
HollywoodLifers, how impressed are you with Justin’s big comeback?
