Justin spoke to KIIS 1065’s Kyle and Jackie O’s Show on September 8 and dished some dirt. He spoke about relationships, friends, his new music — and something we’ve been dying to know. What was up with that Selena graffiti toward the end of his music video?
In the video for “What Do You Mean?” Justin is seen standing in a skatepark with a fully tagged wall behind him. The word “Selena” is off to the side and a little shrouded, but it is definitely there!
The radio hosts, Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, asked Justin if the name was added to the scene to send his ex-girlfriend a little message, but Justin was not biting. “That wasn’t me who did that,” he responded, and left it at that.

Well, then who did it — and why? The words “love” and “hope” are also spray painted on the wall, along with a huge heart. In the same interview, Justin spoke about how he had his heart broken, and he was waiting for it to “heal up” before moving on and pursuing another relationship. It’s clear that he’s speaking about Selena here (she was his last serious girlfriend) — poor thing!
It seems like Justin’s still smarting over Selena, but we’ll take his word for it that he didn’t purposely include her name in the graffiti! HollywoodLifers, what are your thoughts?
