Well that’s never good! HollywoodLife.com has the exclusive first trailer for Disney’s new original movie, ‘Invisible Sister,’ which features a science project going way wrong! Watch it here.
Girl Meets World‘s Rowan Blanchard, 13, takes on the role of Cleo, a science prodigy who accidentally turns her older, popular sister, Molly (Disney XD’s Mighty Med‘s Paris Berelc) invisible. I dare you to watch the Invisible Sister trailer without laughing!
It’s Halloween in New Orleans and Cleo is forced to step out of her comfort zone, and into the spotlight for the first time ever. In real life, Rowan plays an older sister herself, but Cleo is used to living in her sister’s shadow — but when she has to pretend to be her sister for a day, she sees life in the other way.
The Disney Channel movie will show the sisters and their closest friends searching frantically for a way to reverse the experiment’s results before they become permanently. In the meantime, Cleo and Molly will be forced to work together and realize that they’re a pretty good team. The trailer shows the struggles Cleo goes through to not only become her sister, but to get past her own fears. Oh and to learn to play lacrosse like nothing has changed.
Invisible Sister also stars Karan Brar as Cleo’s BFF, George; Rachel Crow as Molly’s teammate and bestie, Nikki; Will Meyers, as Cleo’s crush, Carter; Austin Fryberger as Molly’s boyfriend, The Coug; and Alex Désert as the science teacher, Mr. Perkins.
Invisible Sister will premiere on Disney Channel on Oct. 9 at 8pm as part of Disney’s month-long Halloween programming, “Monstober.”
Will you be seeing the movie this fall? Let us know!
