Perrie Edwards is good and moving on from her ex-fiancé, but with Zayn Malik still finding ways to throw some digs at her, she may not be above getting in a few jabs herself.
Perrie Edwards, 22, posted an adorable pic of herself on Instagram September 2 made up in an early Halloween costume: a cheetah! But there may be more to that cute costume than meets the eye; could Perrie be calling Zayn Malik, 22, a “cheetah”after he ended their engagement? Hmm…
At first glance, this is just your normal young girl showing off her Halloween duds early to all her friends (and fans), or potentially a glimpse of a Little Mix video; Jesy Nelson also posted herself dressed as a vampire! Whatever the reason, Perrie looks sexy and pretty amazing, painted to look just like a jungle cat, with dramatic contacts and big ‘ol ears!
Perrie posted two Instagrams of the look, the first a closeup captioned “Meeeow! 😏.” That little emoji looks like it knows something that we don’t! The second photo shows a full body shot of the Little Mix singer — and she looks even better! She’s rocking black platform sandals, black, high-waisted leather leggings, and a black leather crop top.
That caption? “Cheetahhhh! @heidiunlik3ly You’re insane! Thanks for painting ma bodeh! 💋.” Now, she could just be really excited about her cheetah costume, or there could be a reason for dressing up in the first place. Is she throwing some serious shade at Zayn?
When Perrie and Zayn were still engaged, the former One Directioner was accused of cheating on her, something that he denied vehemently, including on Twitter. “I’m 22 years old… I love a girl named Perrie Edwards,” Zayn tweeted. “And there’s a lot of jealous f–ks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like x.”

Now that’s a big statement. But with Zayn now connected to Burberry model Neelam Gill, whom he became close friends with while he was still engaged to Perrie, maybe her choice of costume is letting everyone know what Zayn’s really about!
HollywoodLifers, do you think there’s a message behind Perrie’s costume, or is she just having fun? Tell us in the comments and take our poll!
