The excerpt was actually written by Jessa’s father-in-law, Michael Seewald, and slams Josh for going against his Christian faith by joining AshleyMadison.com and cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar, which he has admitted to. “He claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise,” the article reads. “With the name of God on his lips he lived a covert and extensive lifestyle of evil.”
By sharing the extensive blog post on her own Facebook page, Jessa — whose dad, Jim Bob Duggar’s, book you can read here — is clearly putting her support with the Seewalds, and, therefore, turning her back against her family member. This is especially interesting, though, because, for whatever reason, she decided to stand by Josh when police reports revealed he had molested young girls, including herself, when he was just a teenager.
“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” she said on The Kelly Files on June 5. “I’m like, that is so overboard, and a lie, really. I mean, people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims.” She even down-sized Josh’s actions, adding, “Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls. And that got him into some double. And he made some bad choices, but, really, the extent of it was mild — inappropriate touching on fully-clothed victims, most of it will the girls were sleeping.”
Things have clearly changed, though, because Jessa also shared a video on Instagram of her pastor preaching an ‘anti-adultery’ message. The timing of all this is crazy…because there’s recently been speculation that Josh has gone missing from the Christian rehab facility he checked into! Eyewitnesses claim Josh hasn’t been showing up to meetings that patients of Reformers Unanimous are supposed to attend, according to Radar Online. Where could he be?!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Jessa turning against her brother?
