Selena Gomez stunned as she hit the VMAs red carpet with BFF Taylor Swift on Aug. 30 in L.A. Get her exact beauty look below!
Selena Gomez, 23, looked absolutely gorgeous at the MTV VMAs on Aug. 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The best part about her beauty look? Her hair and makeup products cost less than $10! Shop the exact products below!
Selena’s hair was styled in a deep side part and super shiny. It looked healthy and gorgeous with big waves! Selena was recently named a Pantene brand ambassador and said: “I love Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair soft, strong and super shiny.”
The shampoo and conditioner strengthen hair and defend it against future damage. Plus, it’s totally affordable and available at any drugstore and on Amazon.com. Selena adds: “A favorite tip I’ve learned is to comb in the conditioner root to ends so that all of my hair — not just the ends — is moisturized and protected.”
Selena Gomez’s Makeup At VMAs
Selena’s stunning makeup was done by Jake Bailey. He used COVERGIRL products, which we love because they are totally affordable, just like her hair products!
To prep her skin, he cleansed first using REN Rosa Centifolia 3-In-1 Cleansing Water.
Jake tells HollywoodLife.com: “I kept Selena’s makeup simple and sophisticated to not compete with her elegant Calvin Klein gown.
I prepped her skin with Ren “Ever Calm” day cream and a few drops of Ren Instant Firming Beauty Shot Serum to create a smooth canvas.
While I let the product absorb I began working on the eyes, using COVERGIRL Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Black Onyx to define her upper lash line. I then used Nars Velvet Shadow Stick in Shimmering Peacock all over her lids and lower lash lines and also blended it out with a small soft shadow brush for a smokey affect. I finished the sultry eyes look with a coat of COVERGIRL The Super Sizer Mascara by LashBlast to create dramatic, show-stopping lashes.
To even out her skin tone I used CoverGirl Clean Oil Control Liquid Makeup and then applied a coral cream blush from Chanel to warm up her complexion. I set the foundation and cream blush with a light dusting of Laura Mercier loose powder and added a touch of the Nars Gienah Contour Blush onto the hollows of her cheeks to accentuate her cheekbones.
I finished off the look with a thin application of COVERGIRL Colorlicious Lipstick in Coffee Crave for the perfect nude pout!”
