Many have come to terms with One Direction’s break after they finish up their 5th studio album, but what about the possibility of that album being their last? The group’s longtime producer revealed there might not even be a 6th album.
One Direction reassured their fans that the group is taking a much-needed break after they finish up their 5th album. But how will they explain what their producer is saying? Julian Bunetta, the group’s longtime producer and songwriter revealed that there’s a possibility One Direction will not get together to make another record after their break. First the producer said there’s a possibility the band may not get back together after their extended break, but now this? Apparently Julian doesn’t think Liam Payne, 21, Harry Styles, 21, Niall Horan, 21, and Louis Tomlinson, 23, will make another record after their break. “There was definitely a vibe of making [the album] the best it can possibly be, and knowing it has to last as long as it needs to until we make another record — if we make another record,” the producer said to Billboard.
Hopefully that album will last Directioners a long time because not only will 1D be taking a break after their 5th album, they don’t plan on going on tour for it at all! A report from The Sun claims Harry, Louis, Liam, and Niall will come together at the beginning of 2016 to do promotional work for their highly-anticipated fifth album, but that’s it. After they have finishing promoting the album, the boys will be “free agents for the first time in five years.”
Ryan Reynolds Begs One Direction Not To Split
It seems as if fans of the successful boy band aren’t the only ones coming to terms over their decision to take a break. As many fans responded to the news of One Direction’s hiatus, Ryan Reynolds, 38, decided to let people know how he felt about 1D going their separate ways for a while. The father of one wrote, “Do NOT make me regret this One Direction tattoo on my lower back, fellas.” So silly! But seriously, if the boy band actually decides not to reunite when the time comes, there will be a handful of people who may or may not regret their 1D tattoos.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think One Direction will make a 6th album?
