Mel Gibson is in HOT water. The actor has been accused of shoving and spitting in a female photographer’s face, but he’s vehemently denying her allegations. Read his statement here.
A photographer for the Daily Telegraph has made some shocking claims about her recent encounter with Mel Gibson. Kristi Miller alleges that the actor got physical with her when she was photographing him in Australia, and says that he was also verbally abusive. The 59-year-old is denying Kristi’s recount of the alleged altercation.
“I thought he was going to punch me in the face,” Kristi recalls. “He was spitting in my face and he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I’m not even a human being and I will go to hell. He swore and called me a c***. It was non-stop, he didn’t even breathe.”
Mel was with his girlfriend, Rosalind Ross, when the reported incident occurred. “It was only when she grabbed his shoulder and said, ‘That is enough,’ that he stopped,” Kristi adds. “She said, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry. They turned and crossed the road and walked off.”
The Machete Kills star remembers things quite differently, though.”Basically Mr. Gibson and his friend were being harassed by this photographer and he asked her repeatedly to stop, which she did not,” a rep for Mel explains. “There was never any physical contact whatsoever and the story being told by her is a complete fabrication of the truth.”
Of course, this isn’t Mel’s first run-in with trouble like this. In 2010, he was allegedly recorded during a phone call with then-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, in which he made horrible sexist and racist comments at her. He also went on an angry, verbal tirade after a drunk driving arrest in 2006.
