Alright, Ashley I. may cry (a lot), but I couldn’t help but feel a little bad when Jared pretty much dumped her on the beach on the August 24 episode of ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’
Many may agree with me that Ashley I. was one of the most gorgeous girls on Chris Soules‘ season of The Bachelor, and definitely one of the best on Bachelor In Paradise. However, she doesn’t have much luck with guys, and I don’t get why. However, Ashley, don’t get down on yourself — you’re seriously a total catch and here’s why.
1. She’s emotional.
I know that Ash’s crying face has become a running meme joke and yes, it is funny, but let’s point something out — this means she cares, which is a lot more than we can say for other men and women on this franchise.
2. The girl’s got values.
I’m not just talking about her virginity — yes, she’s waited all this time for the right guy and you know that with how gorg she is, it’s not because she hasn’t been offered. I’m also talking about how she doesn’t stab other girls in the back, is BFFs with her sister and doesn’t care if people don’t like her — she’s still herself.
3. She’s not at all conceited.
The stereotypes are there, and yes she’s a Kim Kardashian lookalike, but she doesn’t at all come off cocky — she’s the opposite. The girl should be really confident but instead she’s very self conscious, and even nervous when she’s around guys! Like a normal girl!
4. She has a brain, ya know.
Ashley graduated from Syracuse University (in my home town!)’s Newhouse School — that’s not easy to get into. She’s also said she wasn’t a partier at all while there, so maybe, just maybe, you’re jumping to conclusions.
5. She’s REAL.
Yes, she wears a lot of makeup, has her hair done and clearly works on her body. She’s on TV, who wouldn’t do that. At the end of the day though, she’s totally real. There’s proof on her Instagram picture where she shows photos of herself with bad acne and wrinkles, admits to getting botox, and reveals how she worked on her acne. I’m not sure many real women are in this franchise anymore.
Now only if we can get Ashley to believe she’s freaking awesome.
