How terrifying! Supernatural star Misha Collins, 41, was reportedly mugged in Minneapolis on Aug. 21 and sustained minor injuries. “Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes! Just want u to know I’ve just got some minor scrapes. I’m totally fine! Love u guys,” Misha tweeted on Aug. 22. His tweet comes after his co-star Jim Beaver alleged Misha had been attacked the day before.
“My buddy and Supernatural colleague Misha Collins was followed out of a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men last night and beaten and robbed,” Jim wrote in a Facebook post that has since been deleted, according to E! News. “He’s all right, more or less, with some stitches and a fat lip.”
Misha has not confirmed or denied the alleged mugging, and he has not elaborated more on what happened. Fans began tweeting about Misha using the “#WeLoveYouMisha” hashtag. The actor, best known for playing Castiel on Supernatural, showed up for the show’s convention on Aug. 22 and took photos with fans and more.
His Supernatural co-stars also tweeted about Misha following the incident. “Thank you for such an amazing panel fans!!! You are the best!! Let’s have a thought for @mishacollins and give him all our love!!!!!” Sebastian Roche wrote. Osric Chau also tweeted his support and asked fans to vote for Misha’s charity, Random Acts, in Microsoft’s Upgrade Your World competition.
