As One Direction reportedly plans a break away from the spotlight, expectant father Louis Tomlinson will be using the hiatus to be the best father he can be to his child, HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal. Read his plans right here!
Louis Tomlinson, 23, isn’t too concerned about a reported One Direction split because he’s got other things on his mind. The father-to-be is going to use the break as an opportunity to help raise his baby with Briana Jungwirth, 22, and will put a potential solo career on the back burner for now, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
“While he’s away from the spotlight, Louis wants to focus on being a dad,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He will put all career plans on hold for now to concentrate on raising his child with Briana.”
UK tabloid The Sun reported that 1D will be taking at least a year to focus on solo projects. But sources have told us that Louis wants to focus solely on his child. The source goes on to say that Louis has enough money in the bank not to worry about working while his baby grows up.
“Louis is comfortable enough financially to take a year or two off and feels that his solo career can wait because fatherhood is much more important.” The source adds that with Harry Styles, 21, reportedly ready for “edgier” music, Louis is “joking that he will live his life vicariously through Harry’s solo career while the band is on a break.”
One Direction Taking A Break: Band Won’t Go On Tour For 5th Album
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, One Direction will be taking a break after their fifth album is released and won’t be going on another world tour for a while.
“The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband,” a source told the British outlet. “They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision.”
The source added the fans shouldn’t be too concerned about the break. “It is definitely not a split, and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future” the source continued. “But for now it is the end and they go out on top as the world’s most popular music act.”
