Mike’s social media flirting went down on Aug. 15, reports The Root. After he saw a fan named Sharon complain about spoilers on Twitter, Mike figured he’d start up a conversation. After saying “Hey,” and asking if she was on Instagram, Mike cut to the chase and told her to “DM [him].”

Mike forgot that Twitter isn’t Vegas, and what happens on social media is seen by EVERYONE, including his wife, Mechelle. She chimed into this little chat with a very appropriate pair of emojii eyes, letting Mike know that she was watching him.

Bam! Busted. Mike was caught red-handed and boy, he knew he was in trouble. Not only did he stop talking with Sharon, he even blocked her from his account! Seems Mike realized how badly he screwed up. Whoops. Mike hadn’t deleted his troublesome tweets by Aug. 18, but at this point, there’s no use hiding.

Maybe this was research for his Uncle Buck character, since Mike is starring in an ABC series based off of the 1989 comedy featuring the late John Candy. Somehow, we don’t think that excuse would fly with Mechelle.

As for Sharon/CeciCitra, she seemed to be taking the social media extravaganza with a sense of humor, She posted a few memes making fun of Mike getting caught, even offering to use her newfound Twitter fame as a money making venture. Great idea, CeciCitra!

What do you think about Mike’s flirting, HollywoodLifers? What would you do if you caught your bae tweeting like that?
