Chloe Grace Moretz has officially signed on for ‘Neighbors 2’ and the former child star is ready to get wild. She chatted with HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY about what audiences can expect to see from her no-so-tame role!
In Neighbors 2, which is currently slated for a May, 2016 release, Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne will all return having starred in the original 2014 flick. However, we’re also getting some new additions to the franchise, namely, Chloe Grace Moretz! We caught up with the 18-year-old at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, and she dished to us EXCLUSIVELY about the “crazy” character she’ll be playing!
“I can’t say much, it’s under wraps,” Chloe told us about her anticipated role in Neighbors 2. “I can say that, be on the watch because I am crazy. I am going to do some crazy stuff in that movie. It’s gonna be really fun. Seth and all the boys, we’re gonna…” she added before trailing off. “It’s gonna be a little crazy.”
Following the antics of the first film, we can only imagine what Chloe means by “crazy,” and we’re happy to let our minds wander. Anyways, speaking of being young and wild, we also asked Chloe what she loves and loathes most about still being a teenager. Not surprisingly, her comments are totally relatable.
“The worst thing: acne,” she said. Uh, agreed. “It’s the worst thing about being a teenager. I still deal with it everyday, it’s so painful. The best thing is that we don’t have all the weight on our shoulders that we will have when we get older. But be young, be free, it sounds cliche but I’m learning more about that everyday. When I take on too much responsibility and I am like, ‘Mom, what do I do?’ and she’s like, ‘I told you, just be a kid, have fun and don’t be too serious while you still can.”’
Sounds good to us! Are you excited to see Chloe in Neighbors 2?
