Who knew Wolverine was a Katy Perry fan? Hugh Jackman rocked out to ‘Teenage Dream’ in a hilarious video on Aug. 11. Hugh proved that even tough-guy mutants and fearless pirates have a soft spot for Katy. Click to watch!
So funny! Maybe Katy Perry, 30, should consider hiring Hugh Jackman, 46, as a back-up dancer and singer for her next tour? He’d be as good as Left Shark, after all. Hugh clearly has the moves, as the Pan star showed his fans in an amazing video.
Hugh uploaded a dubsmash of him channeling his best “Teenage Dream” to Instagram on Aug. 11. Hugh was completely on mark, hitting every beat. Clock Hugh’s eyebrow game — talk about brows on fleek! Plus, he did this all while chewing gum. Very impressive!
“Oh, nothing much,” Hugh captioned his video. “[J]ust singing along to @Katyperry! Living a teenage dream!” Hilarious! It’s been over 25 years since Hugh was a teenager, he seems to have kept the young spirit in his heart.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Hugh had fun with dubsmash. On May 3, Hugh wished everyone a “good morning” while lip-syncing along to the “Bacon Pancakes” song from the animated series, Adventure Time. Maybe Hugh just revealed the favorite breakfast for his two children, Oscar and Ava.

Of course, Hugh doesn’t need to lip sync. He has an impressive singing voice, as seen during the movie version of Les Miserables. He also gave a moving musical performance at the funeral of the late comedic legend, Joan Rivers. Don’t expect any singing when Hugh portrays Blackbeard in the upcoming Pan movie, as he’s playing it serious — and scary! Singing, acting, making bacon pancakes — it seems there’s nothing Hugh can’t do (except work with Angelina Jolie, according to Hugh’s wife.)
Hugh’s not the only one getting in on the fun when it comes to lip-syncing. Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski joined Tituss Burgess for an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt-themed tribute to the Queen Bey, Beyoncé. The trio put on a rendition of “***Flawless” that was…for lack of a better word, flawless!
What do you think about Hugh’s video, HollywoodLifers? Should Katy give him a call for her next big concert?
