Can you believe Anna Kendrick turns 30 years old today? Let’s celebrate her birthday by looking back on her ‘Pitch Perfect’ year!
Anna Kendrick is officially over the hill — but doesn’t look a day over 19 years old. Lucky! Anna’s final year in her 20’s was pretty exciting, with the blockbuster success of Pitch Perfect 2 and the announcement that her first book would be released soon. And let’s not forget that she is still slaying the world of social media!
Let’s face it: Anna Kendrick is at the top of her game, and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. It seems like she always has a new movie coming out, her tweets and Instagram photos are to die for, and now she’s even adding “author” to her endless list of accomplishments. In case it’s not already obvious, HollywoodLife.com (more specifically, me) are huge fans of the actress so we’re more than thrilled to be celebrating her Dirty 30 birthday.
But, before we tell you what’s coming in Anna’s 30th year of life, let’s reflect on the successful 29th year. In just 365 days, Anna released a grand total of 5 films, including: Cake, The Voices, Into The Woods, The Last Five Years, and Pitch Perfect 2. On top of that she revealed that she’ll be writing a book about her “memorable” moments going from her hometown in Maine to the bright lights of Hollywood. Oh, and Anna was also the first to announce and confirm that Pitch Perfect 3 is coming in July 2017 — and yes, she’ll be back as Beca Effin’ Mitchell.
Anna Has An Even Busier Year Coming Up
So, after that whirlwind year, what’s next for Anna? Oh, just another million or so things! Aside from the upcoming fall 2016 release of her book, she has 7 — yes, 7 — films on deck. Those films include The Hollars, Table 19, Mr. Right, The Accountant, Trolls, and the Zac Efron rom-comedy she just finished filming in Hawaii, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. Damn, girl — you were busy at 29!
The 7th film, Get A Job, is one that’s been “on deck” since 2012. It’s reportedly a coming-of-age comedy that also co-stars Miles Teller, but still doesn’t have a release date. Doing a quick search for the film leads to a petition started by fans, but other than that there doesn’t seem to be much hope for the film. Bummer.
Aside from all of that, it’s likely we have many, many more hilarious tweets, interesting Instagram photos, and exciting appearances/performances from the birthday girl. Cheers to 30, Anna!
