When they’re not filming for their upcoming TV show ‘Scream Queens,’ Lea Michele and Emma Roberts hit the Pilates studio together. If you’re not familiar with the workout, keep reading to see how you can get toned like Lea and Emma.
Lea Michele, 28, and Emma Roberts, 24, proved they’re also the queens of fitness, when they shared pictures of their recent Pilates workout. The duo appeared to be at Romney Pilates Center in New Orleans, LA, and their workout really paid off judging from their toned stomachs.
Lea posted a posted a picture of the co-stars and friends concentrating on their workout on June 25, with the caption: “Only @emmaroberts could make working out this hard so much fun! Love you lady! So happy we are here on this adventure together! 💪🏻❤️.”
The fitness studio offers private as well as group classes in Pilates, hot yoga, ride cycling and pulse barre, and they also offer a special Gyrotonic practice, which seems to be what Lea and Emma were doing. According to Romney, the Gyrotonic method “is a unique system of equipment and exercises that incorporates movement principles from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and tai-chi.”
Not only does a Pilates workout improve core strength and stability for defined abs like Lea and Emma, but it also improves posture and increases flexibility. Plus, the low-impact workout is great for anyone coming back from an injury because it’s easy on your joints.

Lea and Emma made their workout look easy, as they showed off their lean, toned stomachs in sports bras and cut-off leggings. Both girls wore their hair pulled back, but didn’t even appear to break a sweat!
