They’re two of the world’s biggest country stars, so there’s a definite possibility that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will be crossing paths quite often after their split. And that just may happen at a music festival in Minnesota on the weekend of Aug. 7-8!
Work must continue for Blake Shelton, 39, and Miranda Lambert, 32 — even in the wake of their divorce — and that includes keeping up concert appearances! This proves to be a bit interesting, though, because both singers are expected to perform at WE Fest in Minnesota on Aug. 7 and 8. Could they reunite at the festival?!
Promoters for the festival confirmed to TMZ that neither Blake nor Miranda have backed out of their scheduled gig, but lucky for the country stars, they might be able to avoid one another. The festival is three days long, with Miranda performing on the 7th and Blake on the 8th, so they can easily fly in and out just before and after their respective concerts and never cross paths.
The split has been tough for both Blake and Miranda. During a concert on July 25, the “Sangria” singer admitted how rough the week has been since the pair announced the news on July 20. “Man, this isn’t my week,” he joked, during the show. Meanwhile, his ex is “taking it day by day,” but she’s “still sad and trying to process everything,” according to People.
Still, there is clearly still a friendship left between the two, who were married for just over four years when Blake filed for divorce. They even bantered back-and-forth on Twitter on July 24, at first to help promote their pal, Ashley Monroe’s, new album, but eventually, they used the social media platform to mock all the rumors that have surfaced since the news broke. “I knew it…. You WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!” Miranda wrote. “Ha!!!!!! Busted…I wasn’t JUST a fat ass. Drinking shall now begin,” Blake responded.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers: Do you think Miranda and Blake will have a run-in at the concert? What do you think will go down?
