Yikes. A new report claims that Miranda Lambert’s jealous tendencies played a major role in her and Blake Shelton’s divorce.
Miranda Lambert, 31, and Blake Shelton, 39, seemed like they were made for each other, but unfortunately that was just not the case. While many different rumors continue to swirl about how and why the country couple fell apart, a new report reveals that Miranda’s constant worrying about Blake cheating on her may have been the final straw.
What’s that old saying? You lose them the same way you win them? Apparently, that haunted Miranda, who met and fell deeply in love with Blake while he was still married to his ex-wife, Kaynette Williams. Unfortunately, her incessant fear that Blake might have an affair with another woman ate away at her until it was just too late to save them. How sad.
“She would question him at times and ask about certain girls,” a source shared with Us Weekly inside their Aug. 3 issue. “She had spies everywhere,” claims another source. “[Blake] was never left alone. She was jealous and so controlling of him.” Click to learn more about the Miranda and Blake split.
Of course, it’s no secret that Miranda liked to snoop. On more than one occasion she admitted to things like logging into Blake’s Twitter to see who he was following, and once she even revealed that they knew the passwords to each others phones so they could check each others messages at any time. Plus, a source shared with the magazine that she loved being on The Voice set so she could keep an eye on Blake and his flirty behavior herself.
