Simon Cowell may be Louis Tomlinson’s boss, but he also knows how to be a father. The legendary mentor had a few choice words for one of his favorite boys after the news broke that Louis was going to be a dad.
If there is anyone who knows Louis Tomlinson, 23, it’s his boss Simon Cowell, 55. The One Direction mentor has finally broken his silence on the BIG baby bombshell that hit the famous boy band on July 14.
It was only a matter of time before Simon weighed in on Louis’ baby bombshell, but his advice is NOT what we expected. “I said to him, ‘You man up. You’re fortunate because you’re in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that,'” Simon told The Sun.
The music producer went on to say, “But I also told him, ‘I’ve received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them. This is your business but I’m here for you.'” Sounds like true fatherly advice to us.
Simon also knows how heartbroken the 1D fan base is, but he tells the outlet that the pregnancy is good news, not bad. “He didn’t kill anyone. He got someone pregnant. It happens every day all over the world. Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it’s a plus, not a negative.” he told the outlet. We have to 100 percent agree with Simon.
Yet, fans are entitled to wonder where their favorite band will wind up. Simon explained that, “In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they’ll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision.”
The Boys Of One Direction Are Excited For Louis
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Louis’ fellow bandmates couldn’t be more happier for him! A source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Harry, Niall and Liam are all completely thrilled about Louis’ baby news and can’t wait to be the fun ‘uncles.’ They plan on treating that kid like he or she is their very own.” So sweet. That’s exactly how it should be.
