The moms are back and they’re packing even more drama this time around! On the July 9 season premiere of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ Kailyn gets into a nasty fight with Javi after she’s caught texting a classmate. Plus, a judge decides if Leah should retain custody of the twins.
On the July 9 season premiere of Teen Mom 2, we’re introduced to a whole new set of problems in the lives of Leah Calvert, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska. From custody hearings to cheating allegations, season six starts off with a bang!
Jenelle Wants Custody Of Jace
It’s been a constant battle for Jenelle when it comes to her son Jace. Her mother Barbara has agreed to let Jenelle have full custody of her son again, but wants to spend a year transitioning him. Jenelle admits she wants to get a lawyer, because she doesn’t want to continue waiting for her mom to let it happen. Later in the episode, Barbara does tell Jenelle that Jace has been acting up in school and it only happens when he comes back from Jenelle’s house. Barbara also still has an issue with Nathan and that makes it hard for her to see her other grandchild, to which Jenelle tells her that she can always drive to come see him.
Later, when Nathan surprises Jenelle with a week-long trip to St. Thomas for her birthday, she gets into an argument with her mom upon telling her the news. Barbara is mad that Jenelle didn’t answer her phone on her birthday, and Jenelle keeps telling her to “shut up.”
Chelsea Gets Served Papers By Adam
First, we must not that Chelsea has a new boyfriend — and he’s super cute! His name is Cole and Aubree seems to love him just as much as Chelsea. Unfortunately, her happiness is soon spoiled after Adam’s lawyer emails her paperwork, saying he’ll be seeking joint custody of Aubree. She has her usual meeting with Papa Randalicious before calling up Adam’s other ex, Taylor, to compare notes. They plan on teaming up to take Adam down. See Chelsea’s hunky new boyfriend below.
Kailyn Gets Into Huge Fight With Javi
It seems Kailyn and Javi can’t even be in the same room without fighting. The entire episode, they both were fighting back and forth with each other. When Kail asks Javi if he is still going to pick up Isaac from school, mayhem breaks out. He tells her no, because he found text messages on her phone from a random guy classmate of hers. This winds up creating a huge debacle, because Kail had plans to go with friend. Javi continues to fight with her and won’t back down. He accuses her of doing things behind his back, even though Kail denies that there is anything going on between her and her classmate. He tells her “Get out of my face. The conversation is done… leave the room.” Kail winds up breaking down and crying over the situation and tells her friends she isn’t going to attend the concert. When her and Javi are alone, she tries to talk it out, but he winds up making her even more mad. She tells him she’s done and walks out.
Leah & Ex-Husband Corey Simms Fight Over Child Custody
Corey had been seeking full custody of their daughters, Ali and Aleeah, because he believes Leah is an “unfit mother” after she repeatedly dropped the kids off at school late and missed their daughter’s physical therapy session. He and Leah battle it out in court, but the judge sides with her and lets them remain with Leah.
“Even though I’m annoyed that I have to take a drug test, I’m relieved that our custody hearing is over. I’m hoping we can move past this for our girls’ sake,” Leah says before telling Cory, “I can’t say that I don’t have hard feelings, because I do. Being called an incompetent mother and this and that was really hurtful.”
