‘America’s Got Talent’ Week 7 July 7 Recap: Nick Cannon Kisses Audience Member – Hollywood Life

‘AGT’ Week 7: Nick Cannon Shares Steamy Kiss With Audience Member On Stage

Things got hot and heavy on week 7 of 'AGT' auditions. As in the show's host, Nick Cannon, locked lips with an audience member -- on stage! Sooo steamy. Nick Cannon, 34, just couldn't help himself. The host of America's Got Talent (and ex-husband of Mariah Carey) found himself snogging a pretty lady pulled from the crowd during the oh-so-exciting July 7 episode of our favorite reality competition series. Besides Nick's smoocheroo, read on to see which other acts got judges Mel B, 39, Heidi Klum, 41, Howard Stern, 61, and Howie Mandel, 59, on their feet!

First thing’s first: that kiss! A contestant by the name of Joanna Kennedy took the stage to try and demonstrate her talent: that of being an “intimacy expert” — and Nick gladly volunteered himself to take part in her lesson in lip service. Initially, he was asked to place a peck on a blowup doll. But that just wasn’t cutting it. He wanted the real deal.

So instead, he found a gorgeous brunette in the audience to lay a wet one on. After some brief instructions from Joanna, Nick and his mystery girl went to town. (Hope Mariah wasn’t watching!) While this was by far the most exciting moment of tonight’s show, the act unfortunately didn’t make it to the next round. Apparently, the talent required to be an “intimacy expert” is just not worth a million dollars — or a Las Vegas residency.

Acts that had more of an impact? Well, there was Daditude, a group of middle aged, you guessed it, DADS who were once professional dancers. The guys rocked the house with an energetic performance to Bruno Mars‘ “Uptown Funk.” “I think America will fall in love with you guys,” Heidi gushed. With three yeses (and a no from bah-humbug Howard), the five fathers were given one more chance.

Next up: Three Shades Of Blue, who were basically the love child of One Direction and Hanson with just the slightest dash of Nirvana added in there. So dreamy, right? The adorable foursome performed Nina Simone‘s “Feeling Good” and left the judges in awe — particularly Howard. “I want to compliment you for having the guts to come out here and lay it all on the line,” the radio personality raved. “Your time has come on this show. I think you’re going yo do really well.” Four yeses — and voila! — they made it.

Other notable performers from tonight? Among the best were Pretty Big Movement, a group of plus-sized beauties who stopped the show with a twerk-a-thon to James Brown‘s “Get Up Offa That Thing,” Vox, an operatic boy band, and Duo Volta, a seriously sexy trapeze pair who took our breath away with an insane acrobatic number.

While the aforementioned acts were able to knock the socks off of the judges, there were definitely a few contestants whose performances unfortunately fell flat. A few of them? A “hand contortionist” who basically just wiggled his fingers, a rapping chicken (?!) and the Gem City Jewels, a tragic musical duo who sounded less like Beyonce — as they claimed — and much more like William Hung. (Remember him?)
