Caitlyn Jenner is continuing to open up about her remarkable journey. The ‘I Am Cait’ star has teamed up with WhoSay to launch her own personal blog, where she’ll detail her experiences as a new transgender woman and share advice to other transgender people.
Caitlyn Jenner, 65, is ready to shine more light on the wonderful next chapter in her life as a transgender woman. She has been so touched by stories from people in the trans community that she’s been inspired to start a weekly series of blogs called “The Real Me.” She will be writing about lessons she’s learned in the midst of her ongoing journey and talking about serious issues impacting transgender people. Way to go, Caitlyn!
Caitlyn’s first WhoSay blog was posted on July 6 titled “The Journey Begins.” She admitted that she had “totally isolated” herself from the trans community before her transition, but she was more than ready to make up for lost time.
“First of all, I want to thank you all for your support. The response to my new journey has been overwhelmingly positive and I’m eternally grateful for all of your sweet messages, letters, and gifts,” she wrote. “I feel such a responsibility to this courageous group to try to get it right and tell all sides of the story. To me, that’s always the biggest question: am I doing it right?”
Her journey has been “eye-opening experience” for her, and she’s realized how “fortunate” she is. She revealed she will be sharing stories about fellow transgender people on her blog and discussing “serious issues and lessons that I am learning through this process.” Her blog was syndicated on a number of outlets, including PEOPLE.
“I have so much to discover and hope that you’ll join me on this adventure,” she continued. “Let’s live our true selves and make a positive difference while doing it.”
Caitlyn Jenner Shares Powerful Message On The 4th Of July
On her first Fourth of July, Caitlyn posted a special message that seemed to reflect the big changes in her life. “Happy 4th of July! Proud to be an American… where at least I am free to be me,” she captioned a photo of her U.S. flag.
