Are Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner already regretting their decision to get a divorce? ‘Their feelings are all over the place,’ HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. The split may be a done deal, but that doesn’t mean they’re not second guessing their decision.
They already filed for divorce and released a statement, but Ben Affleck, 42, and Jennifer Garner, 43, are both having regrets over their decision to divorce. Why? Find out all the EXCLUSIVE details here!
“This [divorce] is not easy by any means, but they’re staying strong for the kids (Violet, Seraphina and Samuel). Making this as painless as possible for their children is the most important thing. That’s why Ben and Jen took so long to pull the plug. And that’s why they’re working so hard to keep the peace. They’re dedicating two hours a day to talk and work through the details of this and so far it’s going surprisingly well. Now that they’ve made it official, there’s a big weight off both of them. They still have a long way to go, but they’re getting along better than they have in a long time. Their friends would love to see them work this out — they’re hoping all this work with the mediator and the time they’re investing in each other again could convince them to call of the divorce,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Ben is reportedly “devastated” that he didn’t try harder to save their marriage, so maybe there’s a chance for a reconciliation.
Ben and Jen released the following statement to HollywoodLife.com on June 30, one day after their tenth wedding anniversary:
“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”
