Uh, excuse me? ‘Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke is spilling on the show’s future– and that includes whether Jon Snow might return!
On the June 14 finale of Game of Thrones, fans were devastated to see Jon Snow (Kit Harington) murdered in a most gruesome GoT fashion. However, Kit’s costar, Emilia Clarke, is giving audiences newfound hope that Snow might not be gone for good after all. Check out this very interesting interview!
Just like us, Emilia was caught completely off guard by Jon Snow’s demise. In fact, she had no idea it was going to happen, until she read it with her own eyes in the script. She also watched the episode live, just like everyone else, and she totally felt our pain.
“I read the scripts and I cried,” she told MTV News. “I took Kit out for innumerous drinks and I was like, ‘what the? What the? You’re leaving me? You’re abandoning us?'” Although she was hurt, Emilia knows exactly why she couldn’t know about the death too much before it actually happened.
“Looking forward, there’s a reason why,” she said. “[Producers] know that I can’t lie very well, so seriously, I can say with all honesty that I have no idea what’s happening.” Well then, since Emilia can’t “technically” tell us anything since she doesn’t actually know, there’s no harm in asking her what she thinks will go down!
“Do you think he’s gone for good?” the reporter asks her. “I don’t know!” she said. “I really don’t know. I mean if I had to bet, I would say it’s a 50/50 chance. There’s some helpful people there who could bring him on back to life, but if it means that I’m that much closer to getting to the throne then, hey okay.”
What do you guys think, HollywoodLifers? Is Jon Snow gone for good, or will he return?
