Jon Snow who? Kit Harington has just lined up a post ‘Game of Thrones’ gig– and it’s pretty major. In fact, he’s actually replacing Robert Pattinson in a film called ‘Brimstone!’ We’ve got all the deets!
Fans around the world are still grieving the loss of Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, but one person who isn’t? The guy who played him, Kit Harington. It’s just been announced that Kit will star in the upcoming thriller, Brimstone, opposite Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning. Kit is actually replacing another Brit in the film, Robert Pattinson, whose casting had previously been announced back in February. Here’s what you need to know about Kit’s next move!
In the movie, Dakota will play a young woman who is on the run, being hunted by an evil preacher, played by Guy. Funnily enough, Dakota also replaces an actor, Mia Wasikwoska, who had originally signed on for the part.
Kit will play an outlaw in the intense movie, which will be directed by Martin Koolhoven. Also starring will be Kit’s GoT costar, Carice van Houten, along with Paul Anderson, Jack Roth and Carla Juri.
Kit certainly is wasting no time getting back in the game after his brutal and shocking (seriously, shocking) demise on Game of Thrones. Along with Brimstone, he will star in the upcoming tennis comedy, 7 Days in Hell, alongside Andy Samberg. The mocumentary-style film will debut on HBO on July 7.
Meanwhile, R Patz is keeping just as busy himself. He’ll star alongside Nicole Kidman in the upcoming historical drama, Queen of The Desert. In fact, judging by sneak peaks of the film, the role might be one of Rob’s most interesting yet.
What do you think about Kit replacing R Patz in Brimstone? Do you think the movie sounds interesting or just okay?
