Selena Gomez has been trying to get her bestie, Taylor Swift, and on/off boyfriend, Justin Bieber, to get along for awhile now…and she’s so DONE! HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on why she won’t be helping to reunite the old friends any time soon!
Justin Bieber, 21, wants to work with Taylor Swift, 25, on new music, but she wants no part of it…and Selena Gomez, 22, definitely won’t be pushing for the collaboration, either! In fact, she’s totally over trying to mend Justin and Taylor’s friendship PERIOD, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
“Selena still loves Justin, but is not helping him get friendly with Taylor,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She tried that before for a long time…and it never worked. Taylor was actually the main reason for fights between Justin and Selena.”
It definitely must be hard for Selena to have had her boyfriend and bestie on bad terms, especially since they were once close, but we also can’t blame Taylor for giving up on Justin after how many times he hurt the “Slow Down” singer! Selena may not be able to let go of the Biebs, but Taylor has clearly had enough (#NeverForget when she stuck her tongue out after seeing the exes kiss at the Billboard Music Awards in 2013)!
But while Taylor wants nothing to do with Justin, he has some other thoughts! On June 18, Billboard tweeted about the singers’ positions on the Hot 100 charts, and Justin responded, regarding Taylor, “she is great. Might be time to make things right and hit the stage together again ;).”
The idea of these two teaming up is almost too much to handle, at least from the artistic side of things! Unfortunately, it seems like a pretty big long shot for Justin to be able to get Taylor to agree to the idea — an insider even told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Tay would NEVER work with Justin without Selena’s blessing…which it doesn’t seem like she’ll be getting! But until we know for sure, we’ll definitely be crossing our fingers!
HollywoodLifers, Do you think Taylor and Justin will EVER make things right?
