This is hilarious, and totally not suitable for work! A first trailer for the upcoming indie flick, ‘The Overnight,’ has just been released and it could definitely be described as a ‘must watch’– amongst many other things.
In The Overnight, which will hit theaters on June 19, Taylor Schilling and Adam Scott are your typical married couple, who find themselves under not so typical circumstances. Having premiered to rapturous reviews at the Sundance Festival, the film finds the duo exploring the activity know as “swinging.” Naturally, it’s a little bit dirty– and a lot bit hilarious. Watch it now for a cringe-y laugh fest!
Having moved to California from Seattle, Taylor and Adam are having a bit of a hard time adjusting and making friends. That is until they head to the park one day and meet an, um, eccentric dude (Jason Schwartzman) who shakes their world up a bit.
Jason invites the couple over for a little “pizza night” at the home he shares with his wife, and yes, that is a euphemism. Cut to: Jason and his wife initiating some…activities between the four of them. “This is California, maybe this is what dinner parties are like!” Adam says to Taylor. Maybe…Maybe not.
The trailer gets even more shocking from there. “Can I show you my passion?” Jason asks Adam, taking him into his art studio. What he shows him is a series of paintings which he calls, “Portals.” Truthfully, it’s too embarrassing to state here what these “portals” refer to, so we’ll leave you on your own to finish the trailer and see for yourself.
What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited for the movie?
