We love watching the CMT Music Awards for the awesome performances — but there’s nothing better than seeing celebs flaunt their best hair and makeup on the red carpet before the show! Lots of volume and intense smoky eyes are always a must, but this time we also saw romantic braids and bright pink lips at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on June 10. From Carrie Underwood to Brittany Snow, we’ve rounded up the best looks of the night, but be sure to vote and let us know who your favorite is!
Jenna Dewan-Tatum wore a lavender smokey eye to coordinate with her gorgeous purple dress. Her lips were shiny, glossed with a dark pink color.
Carrie Underwood debuted a brand new “lob” (Long bob) haircut, along with dark eyes and a nude lip. Plus, her post-baby body is insane! Brittany Snow wore her hair swept to the side, styled in pretty waves. Her lashes were long and full and her pout popped with a gorgeous fuchsia lip gloss. Rumer Willis wore her jet black hair in retro waves. Her makeup was smoldering and sexy, yet still subtle, with a bronze smokey eye and a light pink lip. Her brows were full and bold — loved her entire look!

DWTS co-host Erin Andrews rocked her new, shorter hair in beachy, waves. Her makeup was soft and delicate, with a nude lip and some pretty, soft shadows on her eyes. Newlywed Nikki Reed wore her hair in a center part and tucked it behind the shoulders. Her makeup was fresh and glowy. She wore falsies to accentuate her eyes and kept her lips neutral. Her skin looked amazing, and she wore a pretty blush on her cheeks. Jamie Lynn Spears wore her blonde locks in a deep side part and also rocked natural makeup. She focused on her eyes, with tons of mascara to give her look a slightly ’60s vibe.
Jana Kramer wore a romantic side braid that really showed off her highlights — this was my favorite hairstyle of the night! Cassadee Pope wore her long hair straight with a dramatic pouf in the front. Her makeup was bronzed and beautiful.
