Queen Elsa is waiting for you, Disney fans! In the first concept image from the Frozen ride which will open in Disney’s Epcot park in 2016, park visitors will take a boat ride through the town of Arendelle and straight to the ice palace that Elsa built. Plus, some fan favorites such as the “Snowgies” and Frozen Fever will be a major part of the ride. So exciting!
We’re going to visit Queen Elsa! Yes, it’s finally happening — a Frozen ride is opening inside the Disney parks. Disney revealed the first look at the attraction on their official blog on Tuesday, June 9, and it looks like a scene right out of everyone’s favorite animated movie.
The ride is called “Frozen Ever After,” and according to the blog post it will be a fun time for the whole family. Guests will take a large boat ride right into the Arendelle Bay, and then visit Queen Elsa as she unleashes her magic to create a “winter-in-summer” event for the town. Then, guests will ride straight into Elsa’s ice palace, the North Mountain, and a few other familiar locations before returning to Arendelle. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
And don’t worry, Elsa isn’t the only Frozen character you’ll get to see up close and in-person! ” Of course, favorite “Frozen” characters, including the Snowgies from the animated short “Frozen Fever,” will be part of this new attraction, along with the spectacular sights inspired by the film,” the blog post reads.
“Frozen Ever After” is set to open inside Epcot in 2016!
