Phew! Kim Kardashian and her hubby Kanye West have wisely decided against using a direction for baby #2’s name. A new report claims that they’re steering clear of South and East — here’s why!
Kim Kardashian, 34, and Kanye West, 38, have at least one thing in common, they share a love for unique names. Now that the happy couple are expecting their second baby together, they can enjoy one of the best parts of becoming parents again — figuring out a name for their new bundle of joy.
So, the question we’re all wondering, will Kim and Kanye’s second child join his or her older sister North West in the unorthodox baby name club? If you were hoping for a sequel to North — sorry to inform you, but it’s not happening — according to TMZ. Rats!
There’s absolutely no chance Kimye’s second baby will be inspired by direction, like older sis Nori. So that’s a big no to South, East or Easton! Sources tell the outlet that K & K want their baby’s name to be strong, sort of like with North — which they felt was VERY powerful. Funny thing is, a lot of people think North’s name was inspired by a compass — but it wasn’t!
North’s Name Not Inspired By Compass
Even though we may have thought Nori’s name came from a compass direction— sadly, it didn’t. Her unique name was more inspirational than it was directional, according to a previous report by TMZ. The name is meant to represent new heights, and reportedly Kimye went around saying to their close friends and family, “What’s North of North? Nothing.”
The outlet’s source at that time also said, the “duo believes North is their highest point together as a couple” and that she represents a kind of “North Star” for them.
Interesting. You can’t help but think, if that was their highest point, where does this poor baby number fit in? Hopefully Nori doesn’t go around telling her future sibling that she’s the ONLY best thing that happened to their parents. We doubt she will!
