This is… Very weird. A first cast photo from the Lifetime movie based on the making of ‘Full House’ has just been released and, honestly, we don’t know what to say about it.
We’re getting more Full House. Not only is a spinoff series of the classic 90s sitcom coming our way on Netflix in 2016, but there is also a Lifetime movie in the pipeline based on the making of the series called The Unauthorized Full House Story. The movie, which will debut on Aug. 22, has just released a first photo of the cast in character as the cast of the show and it is pretty bizarre! A movie based on a show, about the making of said show is definitely somewhat of a mind-bender, so allow us to break down all the deets!
We wonder what John Stamos will have to say about this. In this photo, we see all the actors playing actors in The Unauthorized Full House Story, and it’s borderline creepy.
The entire cast is pretty complicated, so we’re gonna go through it one by one. Ready? Garrett Brawith as Bob Saget, Justin Mader as Dave Coulier, Justin Gaston as John Stamos, , Stephanie Bennett as Lori Loughlin, Shelby Armstrong and Brittney Wilson as younger and older versions of Candace Cameron Bure, Dakota Guppy and Jordyn Olson as younger and older versions of Jodie Sweetin, Aislyn Watson and Jaime Schneider as Andrea Barber, Blaise Todd and Kindle Todd playing Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen while they were toddlers, and Calla Jones and Tyler Jones playing the Olsen twins at age 6, and Kylie Armstrong and Jordan Armstrong playing them at age 9.
You got all that? Okay, well, neither do we, so it’s fine.
Ron McGee will pen the film, and he shouldn’t have much trouble as he also wrote The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story. Brian K. Roberts will direct.
What do you think of the cast photo? Dead on or too on the nose?
