Looking back at your old MySpace can be severely humiliating — and Tom Hardy is here to prove it! Pics from the British star’s profile have surfaced, and they will make you cringe and laugh all in one breath!
While Tom Hardy, 37, seems like the perfect male specimen, we’ve been reminded that even a man as handsome as he is has his flaws, too. In a string of priceless photos taken from the Mad Max: Fury Roadactor’s old MySpace account, it’s clear that Tom had an affinity for taking half-naked selfies — and even attempting the infamous duck face. (Yes, you read that correctly.) Now take a look and bless yourself with the glory of Mr. Hardy’s most magnificent — and embarrassing! – moments.
If you’re too young to remember what MySpace is, consider yourself lucky. In case you’re totally clueless: it was a social media site that was the predecessor to today’s Facebook. Users were known to take multitudes of bathroom mirror selfies before the word “selfie” was even a thing. And guys were still totally into taking douchey shirtless shots — or sticking their hand down their pants if you’re Tom. #SMH. The best example we can share with you? Tom’s own photo album from his old account, of course!
But wait — it actually does get just a little bit better/worse! In the 37-year-old’s “About Me” section (aka his bio), Tom had some very special thoughts to share. This is just one standout paragraph from his lengthy and impassioned post.
I’m Grateful, arrogant self centred, tenacious, versatile, honest, honourable, loyal, loving, gentle, consistent, reliable, focussed, prideful, passionate and nuts. I have a head like a disco ball, if I say I’ll do something, unless I absolutely can’t it gets done, I never give up on humanity, I love people. I want to see communities stand up, honest and open, flexing to the fullest of their capabilities and combined usefullness. happy. I laugh at bullies. I am reactionary but I have learned to hold my tongue and my trigger finger. Man made mistakes take lives from those that deserve to recover in time, there is always another way forward better even if it is around the side or back, I try to find it. the mind is like a parachute it will only work when it is opened.
Did you just laugh out loud? Us, too. Obvi, we’ll never forget that “the mind is like a parachute it will only work when it is opened.” So. Deep. Tom.
